Keep Clutter at Bay by Recognizing Where It Comes From

Prairie Eco-Thrifter

I have a soft spot for good sales, whether they be at the local retail store (I bought way too many Gymboree shirts for my daughter when they were on sale for $3.99) or at a garage sale. If something is cheap at a garage sale, I may buy it even if I’m not sure that I’ll use it.

Go Green This Halloween

Prairie Eco-Thrifter

We do put up decorations (ones I buy at garage sales or thrift stores and reuse each year). My daughter-in-law came up with this idea, buying bulk pumpkins and bulk flowers. Home-Made Resurrection Eggs

The Coupon Game

I was introduced to the idea of Resurrection Eggs when my first daughter was very young. I found some at a garage sale one day and we've been using them every year since. They're a wonderful way to keep the focus on Christ - when the world tends to focus on bunnies, chickens, and eggs at this blessed time of year.
