We also grow a large garden & lots of flowers, fruit trees & a 100-year-old grapevine. Staying out of debt was/is very important to me & miraculously I have succeeded this far, praise God. From my mother: she taught me mostly everything including checkbook balancing, saving, investing, economics, etc. Heavens, no.
