According to this NY Times posting , from December 2009 to December 2010, corn and coffee shot up over 50%, wheat just shy of 50%, over 25% for soybeans, and the list goes on. It sounded alright until I saw that each point only equals a half-cent. It’s astonishing how much food commodities increased last year.
