Dishwasher/Microwave Safe. The shoe labels have really come in handy this year as my son is playing multiple shoes – with different athletic shoes (baseball, soccer, etc). Now with both of my boys in school this year, labels have become very important because it ensures that their items return home (and I’m not going through tape!).

Run the dishwasher or have your children help with the dishes. I exclusively cloth diapered my son from 6 weeks old to nearly 3 years. While I understand that 19 kids can generate a lot of dishes, just think how much waste they generate by using paper plates for every meal. I estimate we easily saved $500 during this time.
