Years ago, Mom introduced me to the idea of going to garage sales. People sell the darnedest things at their garage sales. Garage sales take time, you have to hit quite a few before you find the item you want or need. My neighbor’s garage sale was almost over when I stumbled on it.

You may not remember all the stuff you had as a kid, but if you are a parent, you are certainly aware how fast stuff gathers around you when kids come into your life! But, because we leave behind the accumulated stuff in our parent’s household, we really end up with less that we had at home. You donate to suitable charities.
