This one is heavy duty metal and oak with brass hardware. I used it for years and sold it – for $25 – last summer in my own garage sale.

If you can’t sell something, consider donating it and at least getting the tax write off. But there is good news.

Am I Frugal – or Cheap?

Of course, to protect the glass and window/door hardware you have to tape and paper it. There is a lovely thrift store not far from my neighborhood that receives donations from the folks in the local golfing gated community. Otherwise I would have lost brain cells and gotten sick to my stomach. Cheap or frugal?
