Fashion changes and new or nearly new clothing gets sold at sales or donated to charity. Here is a short list of some of my favorite finds at garage, estate and thrift store sales. Glass leftover containers 3 for $.75. I don’t like to use plastic bags or throwaway containers for my leftovers – glass seems much cleaner.

We also love travel and plan on doing much more of that when we retire. One neighbor took out wooden shelving and put it on the curb and it now is used in our basement to store canned goods. I wash out the condiment containers and use them to store the dry ingredients for my smoothies. What’s your best frugal win?

Oreo Spiderweb cake There, I’d make everything from homemade bread to Steak Diane (seriously – my mom came to visit one time and bought $100 worth of beef tenderloin so I’d have leftovers – at the time, that was like 5lb of tenderloin!
