This is one of my favorite soups – probably because it is just so simple, but everyone loves it and it is a perfect “fix it and forget it” recipe. I’ve been making it for years and it is a great meal, even in the summer, because you use the slow cooker, so it doesn’t heat up your kitchen. I actually like it better!
