Should You Invest In A Rising Market?

Is the economy really recovering or will our jobs (assuming we have one) once again disappear? In 2010 and 2011 I did get a lot of it re-invested, even though it was rising the whole time. My situation calls for getting re-invested in the market. But, if the DOW is really going twice as high, I certainly want to be in on that!
