Having a green car can really help you feel better about how your driving habits impact the environment. Plus, green cars tend to help you save money on gas, right? After all, if you have a greener car that gets better gas mileage , you don’t have to fill up as often. What About Other Types of Green Cars?

High gas prices got you down? However, buying a new car isn’t in the cards for me right now, so I have to make due with the one I have. This helps reduce pollution by preventing gas fumes from heating up and thus creating ozone. Those instructions are there on the gas pump for a reason. Shut the car off.

Doing so eliminates car payments, insurance bills, and maintenance costs. Buy A Scooter If you want to feel the breeze in your face but are afraid of climbing up on that Harley, check out small gas or electric-powered scooters. While gas is not currently at an all time high, it is still expensive.

Ed Begley, Jr. might be the most famous and visible stars with a dedication to going green.

Obviously the company has much at stake for the worldwide success of electric cars , and this Supercharger network should do a lot to alleviate concerns of those buyers hesitant to purchase an electric car due to range anxiety. Will a “Green” Car Really Save You Money?

The oil and gas industry still has well over 64 million acres of land that has been granted to them to explore on – which they have not even started using. Don’t believe anyone when they say drilling will bring down gas prices right away; it won’t. Subsidize electric cars for the masses.
