Hotels often have more amenities than Airbnb, such as complimentary breakfast, fitness centers, and evening receptions. BEFORE booking a hotel or cabin, visit the website or app and sign up for their mailing list. Be loyal to your favorite hotel brand. If the hotel has complimentary breakfast, even better!

My husband, on the other hand, is not a big fan of travel. You don’t have to stick exactly to the plan (a little flexibility makes for a better trip), but if you have your airfare, hotels, and rental cars arranged ahead of time, it makes things a little smoother. I enjoy seeing new places and new things.
