Even now, my parents are in a fantastic financial situation. We have more stable careers, we have no debt (other than our mortgage), and we own a home. We are co-hosting a bday party for a dear friend of mine this Saturday and we are in charge of all the food. Tomorrow we will start the cooking. We are also flood planning.
