You fully realize that you are but a single link in the generations that have gone before and those that will come after – when you see your nose on your child and your Father’s dimple on his chin. Most children only take from the family finances, instead of contributing to them. Money is required. Children are expensive!

Sunrise with my daughter at Lake Michigan Our son is now 15, and about 25 hours into his private pilot’s license, which he’s funding by earning money working for my father-in-law. I don’t want to feel like I’m wasting all the gifts I’ve been given, including my finances. Eat at grocery stores!
