Years ago, Mom introduced me to the idea of going to garage sales. People sell the darnedest things at their garage sales. Garage sales take time, you have to hit quite a few before you find the item you want or need. If you are in more of a hurry, find a thrift store instead. I love a bargain.

We also grow a large garden & lots of flowers, fruit trees & a 100-year-old grapevine. Electronics/beauty products/new furniture or household items (I’m using things left by my grandparents & living in their house, have done some changes & repairs but free/thrift is excellent).

Stuff – Full Circle

They collect rocks, flowers, twigs and anything else they can catch or commandeer. Lists for Santa Claus, or for birthday gifts start them out and soon they are eyeing and selecting from the wonderful bounty at the stores. Kids will naturally accumulate stuff, even when they can’t buy it. You donate to suitable charities.
