Anyway, for sim lab, we break into groups and we go in to take care of the Manikin or the actor, and our professors watch us on the video monitors to see how we do (and so do the student groups that aren’t currently taking a turn.) I want to repair a pair of jeans. Hospital time is where I’m going to seriously gain skills.

Limiting waste is what really drives most of the habits I have that would qualify as “frugal” – reducing/eliminating food waste, returning unneeded items, pursuing refunds, checking on warranties, repairing things, etc. Vanilla cupcakes I stored all my equipment in a dishpan in my dorm room.
