Back when I was engaged and living on my own for the first time (I lived with my parents while in grad school to save on rent), I went to the library a lot and found a copy of the Tightwad Gazette. I also will pay more for some specialty food items, as I have several food allergies to deal with, and we eat a no-sugar diet.
