When I took my grandchildren to the local carnival in my own city on the 4 th of July, each ride was at least $3 per child – so $9 a pop if I rode with them. Local business offers.

My WWII era uncle and his wife made trips annually with one of their 4 grandchildren (a different one each year). We took my Mom with us to Florida in the 1980’s.
