It would be so much fun to have a furniture rehab class with all of you. But I also want to encourage all of you by saying that no one ever taught me how to paint furniture. But no furniture! In 2007 or so, though, I got a nightstand from Freecycle, and I decided to try painting it. I’m always inspired by your work!

Yard sales are great, especially if you have a lot of stuff that you just want to get rid of, but if you have fewer yet more expensive items – electronics, furniture, etc – than selling through an online marketplace like eBay, Amazon or Craigslist may be a better option. Did you find something on Freecycle that you were planning to purchase?
