In 2007 or so, though, I got a nightstand from Freecycle, and I decided to try painting it. Zoe still uses this freecycle nightstand that I painted for her in 2008 And now I have eleventy zillion furniture painting projects under my belt. A few things that make a good first project: do something with simple lines.

Many years ago, I got a little wooden chest from freecycle. The freecycle chest is pretty small. And since Sonia’s maximalist self fills her room with all sorts of colorful things, the simple white furniture is perfect for her; a blank slate. ? I really, really love how this looks in simple white; so classy.
