Jello Salad. There is a reason that Jello salad is a staple at picnics… they are very inexpensive to make. The basic ingredients include Jello, whipped cream, marshmallows, and a can of fruit. The trick to keeping this option frugal is to use whatever fruit is in season (in season = cheap). Don’t laugh! Strawberry Pie.
