In fact, it’s easy to lose money in an attempt to be frugal. I’ve unintentionally gone too far a few times, and in doing so, learned valuable lessons about trying too hard to live a frugal life. Lesson : If you don’t reward yourself from time to time, then there may be little point to living frugally.
