For a quick pasta marinara, I like Trader Joe’s Marinara Sauce (it’s great right out of the jar), pasta, and a good quality parmesan. This can be a simple pasta marinara, vegetable pilaf, beans and rice , or pizza…all of which can be ON the table in 20-30 minutes!

P arsley, Purple Kale and Cabbage, along with a lovely Lavender bush found earlier that week at Trader Joe's (top photo of collage) joined the existing baby rosemary bush by the garden gate and the other plants populating our tiny herb garden. The herb pot in behind the cabbage was bought for under $4 from Trader Joe's.
