Our little town in Kentucky literally looked like Narnia. Portable fryers and grills were how most people cooked and boiled water, including us. Several years ago, we had a terrible ice storm and were snowed in for four days. Nobody could have predicted the amount of ice we got, so no one was prepared. Thick ice blanketed everything.
