Years ago, Mom introduced me to the idea of going to garage sales. If you are in more of a hurry, find a thrift store instead. But, find one in a high end neighborhood, one where the store sorts through the donations to select only the best. Garage sales and thrift stores are great places to find books and DVDs.

Gasoline stations did not serve food, have coffee or provide bath rooms. Mom and Dad used to change drivers while driving slowly down an empty street by sliding across the bench seat in front. Women wore hats and gloves to church on Sunday. Men wore suits and hats. Cars did not have bucket seats. Go Frugal'
