Gasoline stations did not serve food, have coffee or provide bath rooms. TV’s had to warm up – when you turned them on, before the picture would come in. TV shows stopped at midnight. Popular TV shows didn’t involve police, shooting, vampires or aliens. I wasn’t that cool.
