Kristen, I have a sewing question. I was planning to cut a patch from a ripped pair of no longer worn jeans and then hand sew it from the inside out. I don’t know how to use a sewing machine so hand sewing it is. Now, I regularly stop in at Safeway (decidedly NOT the cheapest grocery store!), Your thoughts?

Luckily, I had a little bit of white cotton yarn in my drawer, and I found a big needle in the sewing box I had grabbed from the abandoned house.
