When I took my grandchildren to the local carnival in my own city on the 4 th of July, each ride was at least $3 per child – so $9 a pop if I rode with them. Find or buy re-fillable soda cups for the park. Overall, the value we received for those $30 tickets was greater than the price we paid.

Summer Camp Activites for Kids for a Winter Business Opportunity

You may know that each year, for my two Grandchildren, I hold a camp I call Grandma Rie’s Money Camp. The receipe (to make up 4 quarts of caramel corn) only takes 1 c of brown sugar, 1/2 c of Karo corn syrup, 1/2 c margarine, a bit of salt baking soda and vanilla extract. Bulk popcorn is pretty reasonable. Pretty inexpensive!

How to Save Money Visiting Yellowstone National Park

It was the trip of a lifetime with our extended family (two sons, their spouses and two of our grandchildren). We also stocked up at the Cody, WY Walmart on things like soda, chips, bread and etc. We are just back from a road trip from the mid west to Yellowstone National Park and back. Coffee was generally $2.25 a cup for a 12 oz.
