I realize not everyone has family heirlooms to give away, but my grandmother was downsizing and gifted her grandchildren pieces from her Fostoria Glass collection that were my grandparents’ wedding gifts back in 1945. My great-grandmother made a lot of her gifts.

But several years ago, I was invited to my first cookie swap at my moms group and it turns out, I don’t need to bake so many different types of cookies. As the host, you will let everyone know how many packages to prepare. We call them Sand Tarts.
