My wedding dress, thrifted! So, I lost $2k on the sale and ended up with a more expensive car in the long run. It’s not hard for me (anymore) to avoid expensive stores or fast fashion sites such as Shein and Temu, and instead shop at thrift stores or use my local BuyNothing group. What’s one thing you splurge on?

Electronics/beauty products/new furniture or household items (I’m using things left by my grandparents & living in their house, have done some changes & repairs but free/thrift is excellent). There’s always been garage sales/flea markets, library, state parks, fishing. Living in NW Arkansas is Walmart headquarters land.
