During the course of the last elections both in Canada and the USA, there was a substantial amount of talk surrounding energy: renewable energy, green energy, and fossil fuel emissions. Today, I will look define green energy and outline the importance of it to our future. What are fossil fuels?

Biomass energy. Biomass energy is similar to solar power in that it used the power of the sun as an energy source. Biomass differs in that it uses plants to capture the sun’s power. Plants can either be grown and burned to generate significant biomass energy or certain forms of trash and waste can be used for energy.
