It was established as a national park in 1872 in the northwestern corner of Wyoming (with a bit of Montana and Idaho thrown in to boot). We also visited Devil’s Tower, the Badlands, Scotts Bluff National Monument, and the Battle of the Little Bighorn Monument, so we saved quite a few bucks just on this trip by getting a pass.
