Use reusable containers with lids rather than plastic wrap and aluminum foil to store leftovers. Choose drought tolerant plants for your landscape. Eat those leftovers! I have a good friend who hates leftovers and throws any away after a meal. By eating your leftovers, you are saving money and avoiding the land fills.

I can park my car and walk from sale to sale, getting a bit of exercise, enjoying the fine weather and seeing the architecture and landscaping of the homes along the way. Glass leftover containers 3 for $.75. I don’t like to use plastic bags or throwaway containers for my leftovers – glass seems much cleaner.

Oreo Spiderweb cake There, I’d make everything from homemade bread to Steak Diane (seriously – my mom came to visit one time and bought $100 worth of beef tenderloin so I’d have leftovers – at the time, that was like 5lb of tenderloin! Someone else took care of all the landscaping. And I had no kids or spouse!
