Men opened doors for women, women said thank you to them. There were no day care centers – women stayed home and raised the kids. Girls and women wore dresses or skirts. Women wore ‘house dresses’ to clean house and all the time at home. Women wore hats and gloves to church on Sunday.

In my area, the amount of free beautiful parks, nature centers, museums, national monuments, free concerts, kid programs at the library, things to rent at the library (books, ebooks, Kanopy, tools, toys, board games) is so wonderful! My region is notoriously expensive, but there are a lot of free things to do. I try to get (and give!)
