My dad passed away in 2022 and my mom lives in Oregon. Oregon is strong into recycling, reducing, and protecting the land. There is not much convenient recycling. So, I don’t recycle like I did in Oregon and Washington State. I’m currently between houses, and I live in Amarillo, TX.

A thought provoking finding came out of a study conducted earlier this year at the University of Oregon by Arthur D. Magazines are usually printed on glossy or semi-glossy paper which is more costly to produce than newsprint and doesn’t break down as easily as newspaper does; it is also often not recyclable.
