Sunday This was the day my foot was the worst, so we had an easy dinner of Aldi cheese tortellini, Aldi tomato sauce, and basil from my plant. And a bag of Trader Joe’s sweet potato fries. Thank goodness that costly long-distance phone calls are a thing of the past! We ate that with sautéed broccoli.

A few weeks later found me planting more green, herbal goodness that I found for a few dollars each at our local nursery, Brita's Old Town Garden. As gardening was heavily on my mind, I bought an extra Lavender to plant at my Dad's house. The herb pot in behind the cabbage was bought for under $4 from Trader Joe's.
