On the other hand… there were no drones, stoplight cameras, computer virus problems, identity theft, angst over credit ratings, amber alerts, full body scanners to enter an airport and etc. People listened to the radio, watched TV, went to the local (one screen) movie house or entertained themselves. Food/shopping. Entertainment.
