Freeze Your Garden Produce Now and You'll Be Thanking Yourself Later
The summer harvest is underway and I am starting to get over-loaded with some vegetables from my garden, our CSA and from the gardens of friends and family. All of this wonderful produce at the height of its flavor needs to be preserved so that we can enjoy it later in the year. Green beans I grew purple green beans this year as an experiment.

My husband and I try to meet to discuss our finances on a monthly basis. We review our spending, our cash flow and our Family Balance Sheet. Since I manage the finances for my family, I created our Family Balance Sheet as a way to communicate with my husband about our family and business finances. The form is not time-consuming.

How Long Should You Keep Financial Records?
I tackled my home office last week during a major east coast snow storm. let it get too cluttered and disorganized, so I filed, tossed and shredded my way to a clean work space. In doing so, I noticed my filing cabinet was becoming very hard to close. was just filing papers, and not purging along the way. Read more about receipts below.

Wednesday Baking | Pumpkin/Sweet Potato Chocolate Chip Muffins
The other day on my Facebook page , I related a funny story about Zoe and some muffins that I made, and a reader asked if I could share the recipe. This works out perfectly, because my well-laid plans to write up the recipe for these cinnamon rolls sort of got derailed! Another idea is to substitute applesauce for some of the oil. cups sugar.
