raleigh bites: sono sushi restaurant
Want to share the details on a budget-friendly restaurant in your area? Sono Sushi Restaurant in downtown Raleigh, NC has some of the most interesting (and delicious) rolls I’ve had in a while. The ambiance is fun too! I HIGHLY recommend the Crazy Monkey roll which is smoked salmon, mango, cream cheese and avocado with crushed cashew nuts on top.

Why traditional budgeting is WRONG
Most budgets look backwards. better budget looks forward .
But first, let me tell you why traditional budgeting drives me batty by looking backward!
Most non-fixed expenses are hard to predict, and thus are hard to budget for.
We all know budgeting is smart. You pull out your bills and receipts from the past month and add up what you spent. That number indicates how much you will spend this month, right?

Breaking Down The Budget by Percentages.
I read an interesting article in USAA Mag recently, "Budgets Are The New Black," and I thought it did a great job of breaking down budgets by percentages (plus, what a killer headline!). Tags: budgets money management tools and resource It was written by famed money guru & best-selling author Jean Chatzky , and among other things pimped out an excellent graph of where all our money should be going. Or, at least where we should strive for it to go!
