Way back in 2008 I signed up for a Upromise account and then it sat unused for many years. Back in 2008, I was a mama to a toddler and infant, so a lot of things slipped my mind. Right before the pandemic started, I opened 529 College Savings Accounts for our daughters. You can apply for the card through your Upromise account.

Why Use Cash?

At the time, I didn’t have credit cards so it was a valid concern. As an adult, I use both cash and credit as well as checks. Occasionally merchants will discount the price because they don’t have to pay the credit card fees on your purchase. Some places do not accept credit cards.
