2011 was a year that went like I never imagined it would. I set a bunch of goals I wanted to achieve in 2011 and thought I'd have plenty of time to do them. In September my part time student statues changed to full time. At the end of Dec 2010, I was a SAHM. path, I'm not the least bit disappointed.

A year ago when I had a part-time night job I ran around all day taking care of kids, my home, and work. I mean real exercise. Not things like parking in a parking spot farthest from the door type stuff, I mean cardio or strength training. Start walking. Loose weight. Now my kids are both in school, and I don't work.

For 6 years, my kids have dictated my schedule and now I am juggling working part time outside of the home, shuttling my kids to soccer practice, managing our home, spending quality time with my family, training for my first half-marathon in October, and finding time to work in my blog and other projects.

It's been quite a year; I have a total of four jobs (one full time, three part time) and am beginning to make a dent in my student loan debt. By the end of this year, I will have increased my income by over 70% (compared to my one full time job). Hello, and Happy Holidays, folks! So that's it!

Welcome to 2011! With that said, here are my goals for 2011: Attempt to double my income (from roughly $40,000 from the day job to $80,000 including all of my part time and full time income. It helps so much to know that I'm not alone in this battle!

Although friends tried to help by offering part time employment, she was unable to keep a paying job.
