We didn’t carry over credit card balances, we paid off our car notes early, and the interest rate on the student loan was at a low 2.75%. We also didn’t feel comfortable with Dave’s suggestion of a $1000 starter emergency fund, which is his step #1. Increase business emergency savings. DONE November 2019.
