My monthly goal is $100. This should cover my tentative Christmas budget that I based on what we spent in 2018. I’m challenging myself to find the cash in different ways other than my budget, and last month, I put the rebate I received in the mail from Ebates into my Christmas savings. How did I do in March?

But if those gifts were paid with a credit card that doesn’t get paid off as soon as the bill arrives, any savings from store sales, coupons, and/or rebates might be negated from the interest accrued. Now start creating a budget based on what you spent in 2018.

My monthly goal is $100. This should cover my tentative 2019 Christmas budget that I based on what we spent in 2018. I also received a $4 rebate in the mail. If you came up short prior to July, find your monthly savings goal for July and any shortfall from February – June. The balance of $73 came out of our July budget.

Found money can be found from various sources, such as rebates, refunds, online sales, or even the ground. I said goodbye to mini-van life in January when we traded in our 2007 Honda Odyssey for a 2018 Toyota Highlander. I talk a lot about debt freedom and that is still a goal of ours, and our Debt Freedom Plan will be adjusted.
