This past winter I cleaned out closets and drawers in my quest to minimize and downsize our stuff and donated everything to the thrift store, rather than hold on to it for the spring sale. This money was put into my Christmas Savings account. April 2021 – I found $715.62. March 2021 – I found $747.

I added the check to our savings. In March, I added $70 in $1 bills that I had been setting aside for the past year. Last year, a friend of mine on Facebook shared that she saves $1 bills that have Federal Reserve letters that match the first letter of her kids’ names. I made enough to put $50 in our Christmas Savings account.
