I added the check to our savings. In March, I added $70 in $1 bills that I had been setting aside for the past year. Last year, a friend of mine on Facebook shared that she saves $1 bills that have Federal Reserve letters that match the first letter of her kids’ names. How did I do in April? This update includes how we frugal-ed in April, May, and June. Since April, he made over $800 by selling 3 old bikes, unused furniture, a college fridge, a camping grill, a TV, and other misc stuff. 2 – We opened up high-interest savings accounts and earned $250 in interest.

How did I do in April? As I said in the March meeting , my husband and I are going through Dave Ramsey''s Financial Peace University online course and we have never in our marriage sliced and diced our budget like we are as a result of this course. I transferred $115 to our Christmas account in April. $15

Even though we are well into April, I wanted to give you a quick update on my Disney fund! March was pretty good to me…I was able to add $307.55 Starting January 2012, we set up an automatic withdraw to a new “vacation savings account” of $25 a week. I typed this up a few weeks ago but never posted it!!

This money was put into my Christmas Savings account. April 2021 – I found $715.62. March 2021 – I found $747. This money reflected my earnings from the first quarter of 2021. I made quite a bit more from the 4th quarter of 2020 where I do most of my Christmas shopping. Progresso Refund: $3.50.
