I was always in debt, which has been a tremendous source of shame for me. made by my husband While my husband’s income has increased over the years, we’ve ended up with a lot of (mostly) medical debt that would be easier to pay off if I were/had been able to work full-time. Staying out of debt was/is very important to me & miraculously I have succeeded this far, praise God. Electronics/beauty products/new furniture or household items (I’m using things left by my grandparents & living in their house, have done some changes & repairs but free/thrift is excellent).

At age 12, I started saving up my allowance and babysitting money to buy Christmas gifts for other children who were less fortunate. Visiting family in Florida, we enjoy no-cost activities like visiting their beautiful beaches! The more kids I could “adopt”, the better! I did drive that vehicle for 14 years, so it wasn’t a total loss.
