Over the weekend, my oldest daughter had a swim meet. These meets are long and my youngest daughter, who does not swim competitively, ususually handles it fairly well. It can get a bit boring for her considering her sister swims less than 5 minutes during the 4 hour meet. It was like he spoke our language.

What We Ate this Week: Monday: We went out for dinner to celebrate my oldest daughter’s 11th birthday. While I don’t advocate the use of credit cards with a continuing balance, we do use a credit card on many purchases and pay the balance off when the bill comes. My older daughter got a new coat, hat, and gloves.

daughter's school was still canceled. Cookies needed to be baked, house work needed to be done, bills that needed to be paid, blog posts needed to be written and snow balls needed to be formed. As for my oldest daughter, she had the best day EVER, because she got to watch way too much TV as mommy was attending to her little sister.

One way to track your spending is to log all of your purchases, bills, atm withdrawals, and any outgoing spending on notebook paper at the end of each day. My oldest daughter has grown 5 inches in the last year. I’m pretty confident that her warm weather clothing that I packed away last fall will be handed down to her sister.
