Every night my first prayer is that this virus starts to mitigate, the curve flattens to a manageable level for our health care system, and lives are saved. Our Big Financial Goal for 2016

We have more important things to do with our money besides sending a large portion of it to the creditors every month. We have a retirement to plan , our daughters’ college to save for, and many places to visit. We will continue to save for travel and it is already part of our budget. I think I’ll survive.

Our 2018 Financial Goals

2 – Save $10k in a savings account, specifically earmarked for medical expenses. We blew through our health savings account, and now need to save another $10k so we’re not caught off guard if another emergency were to happen. Save for a camper upgrade. If not, we’ll start saving in 2019.
