Now I’m living on the small acreage that I was raised on (which is now smack dab in the middle of town & 2 miles from work) with my mom & my two kids, 15 & 8. We teamwork together to homeschool-I was homeschooled until nursing school, and I am privileged to be teaching my kids & have my mom assist on the days I work.

How long have you been reading The Frugal Girl? I started reading The Frugal Girl about two years before I escaped from the workforce, which was almost eight years ago. Although my parents never specifically taught me about finances, they lived a frugal life by necessity. He’s a cheap date – but then, so am I.

What I Spent It was a cheap week at my house. Wednesday My mom dropped off some of this baked potato soup for us, so that was dinner, plus some fruit. appeared first on The Frugal Girl.
