You probably will find clothes that you had forgotten you even had; I certainly did! You’ll need to be able to sort clothing into piles according to what you find.

If you have an uneasiness when it comes to “used” clothing, know that there are many different tiers of second hand stores. If the stigma of thrifting gets to you, remember, it’s not “used”, it’s “vintage”. Children’s clothing is generally much cheaper than the adult equivalent. Check out Sample Sales. Choose Wisely.

I got brand new clothes , a stroller, a playpen, toys, blankets, the list goes on and on. Many of the other items I needed like cloth diapers and clothes for the baby in bigger sizes I bought from garage sales. Garlick got all of her children’s clothes and gear from friends, family, and sites like Freecycle.
