My daughter does competitive cheerleading and that itself is $3K a year (not including travel). For the clothes and shoes for my kids, I look for sales. I stocked up on several sizes for the next 2-3 years… for my daughter, last Sept, Crazy 8 had a coupon and a sale on summer clothes. Then I have no choice.

I’ve put a band-aid on the situation by using plastic tubs for her clothes and a plastic drawer unit for her socks and underwear. My daughter and I got into a conversation yesterday that ending up talking about all things ombre; you know shades from dark to light or light to dark. There are also some really cute ombre items for the kids, from clothes to toys. From Craft by Photo comes Dip-Dyed Shoes. This grouping from Society Bride is beautiful.

Where I have to change my schedule to mesh with my daughter’s plans for me. There would be no dust or muddy paws or muddy shoes. All clothes would come out of the dryer with absolutely no wrinkles. Where there is animal toys and kid toys everywhere. Everyone would be happy and healthy and helpful at all times.
